From the series - Our one world

Daybreak is a large rectangular 150 cm x  100 cm abstract painting from my 2021 series ‘Our one world’. This series is inspired by our land, our skies and our oceans.

Daybreak is inspired by the subtle beauty from early sun rays. That emotion, that feeling of possibilities and new beginnings is empowering.
 
This painting is highly textured, offers many layers of tactile points of interest and sweeping rays of lights. It is an expressive combination of deep ochres, earth tones, rich blacks and metallics with gold accents.
